Kismet Hair operates as a gratuity-free environment. However, please note that guest stylists (chair renters) may have their own pricing and gratuity policies, which will be communicated to you directly by them.

Colour prices are starting from and are subject to additional charges based on length and thickness of hair and prices vary based on the stylist you choose. Please note each stylist's pricing when booking your appointment.

About Us
Kismet was born out of a special connection between two old friends & former coworkers, Alexis and Emily.
When the timing felt right, they came together with a shared vision to create a space that would not only offer exceptional hair services but also contribute to the vibrant east-end community they both love.
Alexis
CO OWNER/STYLIST (she/her)
For Alexis, the salon is her happy place. It’s where some of her most favourite memories with her mum were made.
Initially studying photography, Alexis made the move to the UK where she trained and worked as a hairstylist. After 10 years of living in the UK and developing her craft, Alexis made her way back home to her family in Toronto.
Alexis loves creating bespoke styles for each client and has a soft spot for beautiful, seamless colours that work with your busy lifestyle. When you’re in her chair she takes time to explain tips and tricks to ensure you’re able to get the most out of your style at home.
When Alexis isn’t thinking about hair, she’s either hanging out with her nephews or walking her dog :)
Emily
CO OWNER/STYLIST (she/her)
Emily began her hair journey in 2008, assisting at a salon in her hometown of Orangeville, Ontario. She moved to Toronto in 2010, and over the years, she has gained valuable experience behind the chair and working on photoshoots and fashion shows. Her dedication to her craft has helped her build a loyal following, and she’s continued to evolve as a stylist through ongoing education with brands like Davines, La Biosthetique, Kevin Murphy and through advanced cutting courses at the renowned Sassoon Academy.
Emily is passionate about cutting all hair types, for all genders. Whether it’s a sharp, edgy style, a classic bob, or a bold shaggy mullet, she loves experimenting with shape. Her approach combines structure with a free-flowing, intuitive technique, ensuring each cut is unique, effortlessly wearable, and grows out beautifully over time. When it comes to colour, Emily embraces a natural, low-maintenance aesthetic. She loves creating dimension with soft, sun-kissed highlights, adding depth and subtle pops of brightness in all the right places.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Kindly provide at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations. Cancellations made within 48 hours will incur a charge of 50% of the scheduled service fee. No-shows without prior notice will be charged the full appointment fee in order to rebook.
