We proudly use Davines hair products, known for their sustainable and nourishing ingredients. From fresh cuts and vibrant colours to Great Lengths extension services and Goldwell Kerasilk keratin treatments, we’ve got you covered for every hair need.

Kismet Hair operates as a gratuity-free environment. However, please note that guest stylists (chair renters) may have their own pricing and gratuity policies, which will be communicated to you directly by them.
COLOUR
Colour prices are starting from and are subject to additional charges based on length and thickness of hair and prices vary based on the stylist you choose. Please note each stylist's pricing when booking your appointment.

About Us
Kismet was born out of a special connection between two old friends & former coworkers, Alexis and Emily.
When the timing felt right, they came together with a shared vision to create a space that would not only offer exceptional hair services but also contribute to the vibrant east-end community they both love.
Alexis
CO OWNER/STYLIST (she/her)
For Alexis, the salon has always been a happy place - it’s where she shared some of her best memories with her mum.
Originally studying photography, she moved to the UK to train and work as a hairstylist. After ten years abroad refining her craft, she returned home to Toronto to be closer to family.
Alexis loves creating personalised styles that suit your lifestyle. She has a soft spot for seamless, natural colour and enjoys teaching small tricks so you can keep your hair looking great at home. She’s also passionate about continuing education and regularly attends advanced classes to keep her skills sharp and up to date.
Outside of the salon she’s usually with her family and her puppers, Dumpling or finding new music to listen to.
Emily
CO OWNER/STYLIST (she/her)
Emily started her career in 2008, assisting at a salon in her hometown of Orangeville, Ontario. She moved to Toronto in 2010 and has since built a loyal following, working behind the chair and on photoshoots and fashion shows. Her ongoing training with Davines, La Biosthetique, Kevin Murphy, and the Sassoon Academy keeps her approach sharp and evolving.
She loves cutting all hair types and all genders. From precise bobs to soft shags, her cuts balance structure with an intuitive, free-flowing feel. Every style is made to grow out beautifully and feel effortless day to day.
In colour, Emily leans toward a natural, low-maintenance aesthetic. She creates dimension with soft, sun-kissed highlights and subtle brightness where it counts.
Outside of the salon Emily enjoys thrifting, going to concerts and hanging out her puppers, Finn.
Nicole
SENIOR STYLIST (she/her)
Nicole describes herself as an artsy old soul who found hairstyling as the perfect mix of creativity and care. Her focus is simple: helping you feel comfortable and genuinely yourself.
Trained in Calgary and now based in Toronto since 2018, she offers a thoughtful, personalised approach with close attention to detail. She specialises in babylights, highlights, lived-in blondes, and big haircut changes — but most importantly, finding what feels right for you. Her motto: “It’s your hair — I’m here to help you love it.”
Outside the salon, you’ll probably find her crafting, listening to podcasts, or testing a new cookie recipe.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Kindly provide at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations. Cancellations made within 48 hours will incur a charge of 50% of the scheduled service fee. No-shows without prior notice will be charged the full appointment fee in order to rebook.
